That really makes me mad
So there's this project at work which has been running on and off for 18 months which I've been caught up in since it's inception. Today I got invited to a dinner to celebrate it's success. I turned it down for personal reasons but I was then puzzled why something like a celebration dinner (scheduled for tonight) was being organised at the very last minute. After a bit of prodding, one of the other guys involved in the project confessed that someone else had pulled out and only then had the organiser decided to invite me. There's nothing quite like a slap in the face to finish the day. Ungrateful sods.
